The sun in the morning...it has been VERY cold for the past few day, and I mean VERY, VERY, VERY Cold..like -44C cold!!I am thinking...that winter really can be hard to appreciate sometimes

I am remembering...that Christmas is coming quickly
I am going...nowhere!!! It is still -40C way to cold for me and the kids to running around town.

Noticing that...the sun looks like the moon when it is really cold out. My poor 2 yr old is sooo confused ;)

From the Kitchen...
My Grandma's shortbread cookies
1/2 c. corn starch
1/2 c. icing sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. butter (soft)
Sift dry ingredients. Mix in butter with wooden spoon. Roll into balls. Bake at 300F for 10 min. Makes about 2 doz.
Around the house...cleaned the bathrooms, still have to put up some Christmas decorations.
One of my favorite things...Nuts n' bolts ( I will post the recipe later)
